Fraserburgh awarded 19-1. FinesIt is disappointing that 8 fines for late submission of results have had to be applied this season so far. I assure you I don't like doing this. May I remind all team captains that results must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the date of the match otherwise a fine will be applied. All team captains were apprised of this both at the captain's meeting and in writing. Please see the rules for further information. Late League Results FinesThree league captains have complained about the fines imposed for late submission of their results. This was brought up at the North District council meeting on 15th March. The rationale for the introduction of these fines was to prevent or discourage the appallingly late result submission by some captains that had been seen the previous year. Of the fines imposed this year, there was not seen to be a good reason for not applying any of the fines. In no case of late result submission had the convenor been contacted by telephone, or any other means, to indicate that a result would be submitted late for good reason. It was decided that the fines were fair. This season's fines would stand and the rule would remain in force for next year.
