Aberdeen City vs Shires

Sunday October 3rd saw two matches played in the district teams competitions, run by the SBU North District.

Aberdeen City, fielding two teams, played a team from West Aberdeenshire (under the captaincy of the well-known figure of Charlie Anderson) and a team from North Aberdeenshire (captained by the also well-known figure of Gordon Hay).

The city teams triumphed over both "shire" teams, beating West Aberdeenshire by approx. 7000 and North Aberdeenshire by around 1000.
